Steps to Create a New API User in Salesforce

Navigate to Setup Menu:

Go to Setup in Salesforce.

In Administration Setup click Manager Users
-
In Administration Setup click on Users.
-

Create a New User:
-
Click New User
-
Fill out the required information (use a real working email address, name user whatever you like)

Under User License, select Salesforce Platform.
-
For Profile, choose either Power User or Support Works Power User (API users require higher permissions).

Save the user.
-

Link the User to a Staff Record:
-
Go to the Staff tab in Salesforce.
-
Search for the staff member you want to link to the API user.
-
If the staff member doesn’t appear, click New Staff Member and enter their details.

In the User field, select the API user you just created.

In the Quick Find box, type "Security Token".

Click Reset My Security Token.

A security token will be emailed to the admin email address associated with the user your logged in as.

Directions for Verifying Emails for Foreman Match in Salesforce and i360:

Navigate to the 'Staff' Section in i360:

Open i360 and go to the 'Staff' section.

Locate the Foreman’s Profile:

Search for and select the foreman’s profile you want to verify.
-

Check the Email Address in i360:
-
Note the email address listed for the foreman in i360 (e.g., foreman@yourcompany.com).

Click on Foreman's name in i360 staff section:

Click the Foreman's User Name:

Located in the staff record of i360

Verify the Email Address in Salesforce User Profile:

Check the email address listed in Salesforce Contact Information

Compare the Emails:

Ensure the email address in Salesforce matches the one listed in i360.
